I harvested rhubarb today, enough to freeze 5 quart bags, and make rhubarb/berry crisp. I used an old recipe from one of my most treasured cookbooks, Whole Foods for the Whole Family, La Leche League International Cookbook. Yup…from 1982! As the aromas filled the kitchen, I was taken on a roller coaster ride of memories and emotions. Ahhh nostalgia, the bittersweet chocolate of life.
